Stonebridge in Pleasanton

dancing inside a circle
of orange traffic cones
wish me luck

shopping trip
automatic doors
glass elevator

dropping down
two strollers
on the prowl

in retail heaven
shopping bag
flashes wide

itching to be filled
with a remoulade
of half-offs

close-outs
crammed on racks
is the back story

come Dasher
and Dancer…
Donner and Blitzen…

except Victoria
won’t tell me
her secret

i’m gonna
make her
give me a club card

one hundred push-ups
she handles my boobs
so nice
